Many of the people RMS serves want to work. They like the idea of
having something important and meaningful to do every day. Some people
are performing volunteer activities in the community, some are working,
and some need help to prepare for a first job.
-
RMS teaches people the social and vocational skills they’ll
need at work.
-
We assist people with finding work that works for them — whether
it’s a job that matches their abilities or an opportunity to
volunteer.
-
We’ll also provide support in the workplace if that’s what’s
needed to help a person get and keep a job.

“RMS got me out of the institution. Now I have my own
apartment and I even volunteer at Meals on Wheels. Life is a
whole lot better!”
Mark Pooler has been receiving RMS services for over 10 years. |
